Genstar Technologies’ Terms and Conditions of Sale:


Pricing & Policies:
Genstar is dedicated to providing distributors with advance notice of price increases. We reserve the right to modify policies and prices without prior notice. Prices are effective on the specific date as received, and orders with future shipping dates will be invoiced according to the pricing in effect at the time of shipment.

Payment Terms: Payments are accepted via ACH, Wire Transfer, Check, Zelle or Credit Card.
Standard payment terms are Net 30 days, with a potential interest charge of 1.5% per month on overdue invoices.

Minimum Billing: The minimum billing per order for Industrial accounts is $100.00 Net. The Minimum billing per order for Medical or Southern California orders is $50 minimum Net. This requirement may be waived for emergency orders that specify next or second-day airfreight on a prepaid and add basis.

Freight Policy: All shipments are FOB Chino, CA.
Genstar reserves the right to select the shipping method for prepaid orders.

 

Return Policy:


No returns will be accepted after 90 days from the receipt date. All returned merchandise must be in its original packaging, unused, no damages, and in resalable condition. This policy ensures a clear and efficient process for handling returns and warranty claims.

Custom and Special Orders Policy:
Custom or special orders are considered final sale and cannot be canceled, returned, refunded, or credited under any circumstances.

Ordered Wrong Products:
Genstar allows returns for credit on new with bags unopened and saleable items, limited to 2% of the prior year’s purchases. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee if processed within 30 days of receipt and a 50% restocking fee if returned between 30 and 90 days. For Returns within 30 days, the restocking fee can be waived if a replacement order is received within 5 business days. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges related to returns or exchanges. All returns must be inspected, and an RMA number must be obtained from Genstar prior to the return. Credits will be issued based on the pricing in effect at the time of sale.

Claims: Claims for shortages must be reported within 30 days of shipment.

Returned Merchandise: Genstar accepts returns for credit of new and saleable items, limited to 2% of the prior year’s purchases. Items must be less than 12 months old, unused, no damages, and in original packaging. A minimum restocking fee of 20% applies to all returns, and items are subject to inspection. An RMA number must be obtained prior to the return. Custom or special orders are final sale and non-returnable.

Defective/ Damaged / Incorrect Products: Inspect all packages upon receipt. If damage is evident, refuse delivery and contact Genstar immediately. Claims for defective or incorrect products must be made within 30 days of receipt. If an incorrect product was provided, a replacement order will be sent and the incorrect product must be returned within 30 days or the item will be billed. Credits will not be offered for defective/damaged/incorrect products after 30 days of receipt.

Damaged Package: Please inspect all freight packages carefully before signing for them if required. If a package looks damaged in any way as a result of the shipping process, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately with a description of the damage. We will contact the freight company and begin a claim so that we can send a new product to you right away. If you are unsure whether the shipment looks damaged or not, please inspect it further and open it in front of the driver before signing if required. It is your right as a customer to 15 minutes of the driver’s time in order to fully inspect any freight packages. In the event that you notice concealed damages after the driver has left, you must notify Genstar within 24 hours of receipt.

International Orders: Returns will be accepted 90 days from the receipt date. RMA Procedure will be determined case by case.

Sample Orders: Free Samples are voided of any warranty.

Limited Warranty:
Genstar Technologies offers a 2-year warranty for industrial/welding products, a 1-year warranty for non-corrosive specialty gas products, and a 90-day warranty for corrosive specialty gas products against defects covering parts and labor for returns to our facility. Please check with RMA department regarding warranty for OEM and Medical products. Please note that any unauthorized repairs or returns without prior consent will not be covered. If you have further questions, feel free to reach out. For a product replaced under warranty, the replacement product is only covered for the remaining time on the original warranty.

Return Procedure:
• Please contact 909-606-2726 or email RMA@genstartech.com to request an RMA number.
• Pack the item(s) securely in the original product packaging.

   o Include all paperwork, parts, and accessories.

   o All returned items must be brand new, unused and in their original packaging.

   o Do not write on or place shipping labels directly on manufacturer packaging.

   o Returned items will be inspected upon arrival.

   o Items to be returned must be received within 90 days of RMA issuance.

Warranty Credit: An RMA number is required for warranty claims. Genstar may choose to issue credit or replace defective products, with shipping costs covered by the customer for returns outside of Genstar’s repair department.
